Create a TubCode

TubCode lets you enter the playlist details here to generate a one-time activation code. In TubPlayer, scan the QR code as normal and choose the TubCode option; enter the code and the playlist is set up automatically. No complex username and password, no long server name.

Codes work once, and expire after 48 hours.

Your own label for this code. It appears in the email when the code is used, so you know which one it was. Not sent to the TV, and not private — don't put anything secret here.

Playlist name (optional)

What the playlist is called on the TV.

Email (optional)

Used once, to tell you when the code has been used. Nothing else.

What is stored

The playlist details are encrypted with a key made from the code itself, so they can only be opened by someone holding the code — not by us. Everything is deleted once the code is used, and in any case after 48 hours.
